Akasha is 8-9 years young. She would love a home in Northern Arizona as she truly enjoys the snow (& cold weather) & has the right kind of coat for it., , This sweet girl is OK with children 2 years old & up. She has lived with cats & we expect that with proper introductions she could live peacefully with them again. She gets along with most other dogs, but tends to be an alpha female - the right canine match is going to be vital. A fenced yard with secure gates is required., , She'll need a family that enjoys walking, hiking, etc. as she likes and needs regular exercise. She has some medical issues, including hip displaysia, but still has plenty of get up & go. She also has a distinct personality, and does well with strong human leadership.
