Domestic Short Hair (medium coat) : : Female : : Senior Black
Our hearts break when we see black kittens at Animal Care & Control. For some reason, people do not adopt black cats. Is it superstition? Do people not see the colorful personalities these kitties have? Whatever the reason, Paw Placement will always pull the black cats and kittens scheduled for euthanasia at the pound precisely because so few people will adopt them from there. Brooklyn is a shyer kitten who bonds quickly with humans who stroke her gently and speak to her softly. She will do well in a quiet home with another friendly feline or canine companion who will show her that loving humans exist. Brooklyn shivered, so tiny in her cage, her eyes were big with fear and when we reached for her, she let out a tiny meow. Once in our arms, she snuggled as close to us as she could get as if to say, "Am I okay?" Yes, she is. She is safe. We need a loving home to complete her rescue story. She has silky fur and a purr twice her size. She is a beautiful black kitten who will grow into a diva once she is provided with a stable loving home. More about BrooklynGood with Cats
