Jinx and Jasper were scared little boys at Animal Care & Control. At 11:00AM, we looked into their kennel knowing they were scheduled to be euthanized at 2:00PM. They looked back at us, confused. Where was their owner? Why had he brought them to this place where dogs barked all around them and the only bedding they had was yesterday's newspaper? How do you explain foreclosure and a bad economy to a kitty? How can you look into a sweet cat's eyes and let him know that you can no longer afford to keep him? Paw Placement is doing our best to let these kitties know they will never be abandoned again. We wish there was a way to let YOU know the mixed feelings of sadness and joy we feel everytime we save a life. All we can do is say that each time someone adopts a rescue cat, we are back at the pound, saving wonderful cats like Jinx! This big beautiful boy was rescued with his brother Jasper. They are funny cats, full of affection and personality. We would love to see these great guys go to a home together, but we do not require it.
