Domestic Short Hair (short coat) : : Male : : Senior Blacks
Two volunteers walked the long corridor, cages on both sides full of homeless cats at Animal Care & Control. The last cage at the end of the dark hallway had two cats who were reaching through the bars, begging for attention. They had been turned in by their owners because of foreclosure. The kitties were confused . . . we could tell they were used to being loved and did not like their cold kennel. These two kitties were Pinto and Jams. Obviously littermates, these two handsome boys are very bonded. We would love to see them get a home together but do not require it. Both cats are very affectionate and outgoing. They love lap sitting and headbutting for affection. We are all going through tough economic times. The volunteers see it everyday as desperate owners seek safety for their pets. Somewhere, we hope that Pinto's and Jam's owners see their kitties on our website and know that we will find them the best homes.
