Cricket was left at Animal Care & Control. Her owners did not spay her mother and when kittens came, poor Cricket's litter was left at the pound. It is cold at the pound and many kitties get upper respiratory infection, a sickness as common to cats as a sinus cold is for humans. It is easily treated by antibiotics. Unfortunately, the pound doesn't have the funding to treat all cats who become ill. Cricket began to sneeze and was scheduled for euthanasia. However, pound employees loved this sweet and playful little kitty. They sent out a call for help - would any rescue save this wonderful cat's life. We took one look into Cricket's beautiful golden eyes and we were goners. How could we not rescue her. Cricket has a loving personality and will hop her way into your heart if you let her. She is polydactyl which means that she has an extra toe on her front paws. Cute cute cute! Come see our Cricket and fall in love.
