Baxter is a very sweet boy. He's a bit timid and likes a quiet environment, probably one with no more than one other pet and no small children. He doesn't like to talk about it, but he's had a rough time the last few years being passed around from person to person and needs some time to trust people again. After he warms up to you, he will sleep close to you and come to you for affection, but it will take him some time to start showing affection. He does not scratch furniture and if you have food in his bowl, he will let you sleep in. You can keep food in his bowl at all times and he will not overeat. He has a very full, soft coat and loves to have his face and head scratched. This poor boy really needs someone kind and compassionate to ease his broken heart. Could it be you? |
