Sassy is such a sweet and loving little girl who cannot stop wagging her tail. She was a bit of a Sassy little girl when we first got her. Right after we pulled her off of the euthanasia list with her pal Elfie, she wiggled out of her leash and jumped out of the back of a car. As I called for her, she darted off as fast as she could in the opposite direction. In a frantic mode I jumped in my car and drove in her direction, only to look in the rear view mirror and see her back at the same spot where she jumped out of the car. Back at the original spot, I jumped out of the car as she continued to run past me and disappear once again. I felt something at the back of my leg and when I turned, Sassy dropped to the ground and rolled on her back. So that is how Sassy got her name. She is so loving, cuddly, and has a tail that never stops. She is good with gentle kids and other dogs. She did great when getting a bath and, just like Elfie, really liked getting dressed up!
