Introducing Joon, AKA Joonbug! Joon is truly a sweet little furball of fun! She was abandoned at only 3 1/2 weeks when her mom died and was placed along with her brother Benny into a Paw Placement foster home. Joon is a black and white Border Collie with adorable freckles covering her limbs and belly! She is a very easy going, independant pup who loves playing outside, cuddling, belly rubs, and praise. She gets so excited when she's told she's a good girl, which she really is!, She's very close to being potty trained and only has an accident when she hasn't been taken outside for too long of a period. She's also easy to train and learned how to sit only after 5 minutes of instruction! Joon is a funny lil' thing and just loves heights! She's often found sitting on the highest rock or stump and loves to play Queen of the hill with her brother! , She is EXCELLENT with children and has allowed her human foster brothers to lug her around incessantly, all the while seeming to enjoy every minute. She is also good with cats and other dogs. She sleeps in a crate throughout the night and doesn't make a peep. Joon will make a wonderful addition to ANY family and will bring many smiles as she is extremely adorable and just full of personality!, Flagstaff area applicants strongly preferred. , Must have fenced yard and be willing to commit to 15+ years. Children ages 8 and up. Before applying to adopt a puppy you must commit yourself to being a good owner. Acquiring a puppy takes a lifetime commitment on your part. Dogs can live upwards of 15 years if they are healthy, so it is not a decision to be made lightly. It is essential that you choose to share your life with a dog for the right reasons, otherwise you can make both yourself and the dog miserable. , So what IS the right reason? The only reason you should commit yourself to a dog/puppy is because you want to share your life with a furry companion.
