Please consider this great boy. Buddy has been with us since summer 2008 and is more than ready for his family to find him. One of our volunteers, who loves Buddy and wants to see him in a good home, has paid part of his adoption fee. His adoption fee is now only $50. , Buddy loves affection and sort of talks when you pet him in just the right spot behind his ear, making an adorable huffing sound and closing his eyes. He's a people pleaser, and will look to his person constantly for direction and praise. He likes dog houses and doesn't mind a crate, but would prefer to be with his people. He would be happy taking a walk with you, then napping indoors while you go about your day. He is fully housetrained., , Buddy does well with female dogs and smaller non-aggressive males. A typical heeler, he is acutely aware of what is going on around him and may tend to herd or chase other animals. He has met a few horses and didn't bark or chase. Buddy is about 9 yrs young. He has some hearing loss and arthritis in a hind leg, but daily supplements and walks will keep him on the move for years to come. Call us to arrange a meeting.
