Flagstaff area applicant's strongly preferred for Gracie. Gracie is one of five puppies that were found in a ditch only a few weeks old and turned into the Humane Association. Gracie is a youngster with a sassy disposition and a puppy's enthusiasm. She gets along well with other dogs and loves all people. Gracie has found her voice and loves to use it. (I believe it?s a bad habit obtained from her foster sister Lily) She's very smart and eager to please, so she learns quickly. Gracie is working on her housebreaking and is good in her crate. It is recommended that she attend obedience classes for continued success and socialization once she enters her forever home. She has a lot of energy, so someone who enjoys long walks will be a good match for this cute little girl. Gracie will only go to a home that would keep her forever. She will reward her new family with kisses and dedication, so if you are looking for a dog that will play, run and love you forever, consider Gracie! Raising a puppy demands a lifetime commitment, patience, and willingness to deal with training issues specific to young, energetic dogs. Please consider all of these factors before applying to adopt a puppy. If you find that you are not up for the challenge of a puppy, please consider adopting one of our adult dogs. Many of our adult dogs are already housebroken; crate trained, and know basic obedience. Their temperaments have been tested in a variety of situations and we are able to tell you a lot about them prior to adoption.
