Shepherd/Aussie Mix

Available for adoption 8/13/2008. Cookie and her littermates (all the other girls look like aussies) were found at only a few weeks old in a ditch and , turned into the Humane Society, who immediately contacted Paw Placement for , foster homes. Since then, they have thrived with the care of their foster , families! Cookie is a smart puppy who is really sweet, friendly, , and curious, and is comfortable around dogs and cats. She looks somewhat , like a shepherd mix, but her build will most likely be medium, and she has a , soft brown coat and four pretty white paws. She is confident for such a , young puppy, and is not afraid of the doggy door or even thunder! She is a , really happy girl and loves to play with balls, sticks, and her sibling Flower and even though , her tiny little mouth can?t grip a whole tennis ball, she loves to carry it , around by its fuzz. She will probably grow up to be quite a playful , character, as she shows signs also of being a water dog, loving to splash in puddles. She loves people, and will eagerly climb into the lap of strangers, eventually rolling over onto her back and begging for a belly rub. Following , people or other dogs is a hobby of hers, and she is such friendly company,, happily finding something to explore wherever she goes. Housebreaking is in , progress but will need continued work. What?s more, she is already learning , to sit! Did we mention she is smart? At such a young age, to have all of these, great characteristics, she really deserves a family to make her own for the rest , of her life.
