Henry is a purebred German Shepherd; he and his brother Balto were found wandering hungry and scared around a golf course in West Phoenix. Henry is the more outgoing of the 2 and Balto follows him everywhere. Our vet thought they had been on their own for several days., A good Samaritan spotted them and coaxed them into her car. , Henry is a very sweet and smart little boy. As with all puppies he will need the proper training and guidance. Although a puppy now, Henry will be a big dog of 70 pounds when full gown., , Often used as working dogs, German Shepherds are direct and fearless, eager and alert. Bold, cheerful, obedient and eager to learn. Known for their tremendous loyalty and courage. Calmly confident, but not hostile. Serious and almost human in his intelligence. They have a high learning ability. German Shepherds love to be close to their families, but they are very wary of strangers.
