Diva got her name because when she purrs, she actually sings. She starts off humming softly and after one or two good chin scratches, Diva launches into a full aria of purring sensation. Diva was abandoned at the pound when her litter of kittens was two days old. I noticed her lying in her kennel, scrunched into a cardboard box with five tiny furry jelly-beans suckling. She squinted at me from her uncomfortable cell. Once we got her into a nice, cushy condo, with clean water and wet food, Diva began to sing. Her kittens slept contentedly and Diva stunned us all with her purry song. We have never heard a cat purr that way she does. Diva is a sweet cat who will roll across the floor for belly rubs. She has a very gentle nature and will likely do well with another feline or canine if proper introduction methods are used. Diva is a very special kitty cat who will definitely sing her way into your heart. |
