Unknown breed / mixed (short coat) : : Female : : Senior : : Medium Boxer/Shepherd mix
Cabo and her siblings were abandoned by their owner when their home went into foreclosure. A neighbor took the pups and was attempting to re-home them when a volunteer with Paw Placement stepped in to help. We believe the pups are just eight weeks old as of 2-23-2008. They have just had their first puppy shots & de-worming. All five puppies are crate and almost pottie trained. They are a boxer/shepherd mix and will probably be about 50 pounds when full-grown. . , Update: Aug 12 2008, When we received Cabo as her new foster family her name had been changed to Hannah. She is 40 pounds right now. She is very sweet and loves to follow you around. Her favorite place at night is snuggled up next to you in bed. She tends to shy away at times but will come if you call her. She does extremely well with dogs and well with cats. She is a bit skittish on a walk but seems to really enjoy it once she gets going for a few minutes. She is getting much better since she has been here. She might take a bit to warm up but she loves kids and attention. She doesn't beg but loves crackers and is extremely gentle when you do give them to her. She is house trained with a doggy door and does not chew or scratch anything, and behaves very well even when left alone. She would need a home that is willing to just give her love and attention that she deserves.
