Webster, sometimes known as Butterball for his slightly plump belly, is the sweetest little guy you could hope to meet! Passed over at the pound, Little Webster was scheduled to be euthanized before a kindly volunteer clearly fell in love and promised to find him his forever home. Webster is housebroken, crate trained, and a true lap dog. We wants nothing more than to take walks with his human and then curl up with a soft blanket for his nap. He would be a wonderful addition to a quiet household with or without other doggie companions. Due to his tiny size, would do best with older children. He truly just wants to be given a second chance and will add so much to your home. , He will be the best lap warmer your family could hope to have! Most of the time he is happy to snuggle up against you or on your lap and sneak in some sweet kisses. When a lap is not available this little guy will curl up on a doggie bed or pillow ? but watch where you sit or step because he likes to burrow! If you have a grassy yard he?ll be in for a real treat as he loves to spread out on the grass and soak up some sunshine. He gets along well with other dogs and likes to play chase around the house, looking forward to the tasty cookies and biscuits that follow. Webster looks forward to his walks and will even perk up and pop off of his perch whenever you pick up his leash ? he will run over to you and wait patiently for you to attach his leash, wagging his tail in happy anticipation. Webster does have a heart murmur which can be treated with medication but you will need to take it easy on him with his walks and exercise as doctors have ordered minimal physical activity. However, he should live quite happily for several years with proper care and medication. Webster has so much love to give a family that can be with him 24/7. He needs to have his human companion(s) who are home during the day to keep him company as he gets very lonely and misses you terribly when you are not home.
