Belgian Malinois/Shepherd mix

Cody is a really sweet boy who will do anything for a good scratch on the chin. Cody is housebroken, rarely barks, and has been friendly with every dog and cat that he has met. One of the amazing things about Cody is the he never jumps on people. When greeting someone, he gives them lots of kisses and leans up against them to beg for a scratch, but no matter how excited he gets, he will not jump up! , Cody is so sweet that you would never be able to guess that anything bad has ever happened to him. However, X-rays showed us that he had not only been shot in the stomach, but he had also been hit by a car in the past and had never been treated. Paw Placement was able to get him hip surgery through many kind donations and he is now healing nicely in a loving foster home. But the big goof still doesn't know that he is injured, with a hip full of stiches he wants only to run and play with the other dogs. The Vet instructed us that Cody can't run until after his stiches come out, but once they do... Cody is going to have full use of all his legs and is going to run and play and be so happy. Just look at those beautiful eyes and that handsome long nose and you will know that Cody will be an angel that will make you very happy if you bring him into your life!, UPDATE FROM CODY'S FOSTER FAMILY: Cody is doing well and able to play and run around. In fact, he has found a new pasttime. He loves to steal socks! We've been noticing that all our socks have been disapearing from the dirty laundry and appearing in the living room... and we finally caught him doing it. He takes the socks out of the hamper and brings them to the living room and swings them around, then looks for another sock. Its so cute! And the great thing is that he just plays with them and doesn't actually chew them, so we don't get any holes in them :-), This boy is a delight!
