Brindle Chihuahua

Dio is a special Lil guy that caught my attention at the pound one day when, I was there for rescue of another doggie friend. I had never seen a, brindle Chihuahua before so I went home that night and researched his, breed , specifically the brindle Chihuahua. I found that the brindle is a, rather rare color in Chihuahuas. It is not new, it's been around for many, years It just takes a rare family gene to get a brindle. I went back to, the pound 3 days in a row just hoping somebody would claim their lost, gem. To no avail, he just sat waiting so scared in that big cell and with no, blanket; my heart was broken. I knew on that last day he was scheduled to, be euthanized, I couldn't let that happen. This little guy has so much life, and love in him it just wasn't fair.It took him no time at all to show me, how happy he was to be heading to a new life, where he knows there is love, and security. He enjoys being around all his small dog friends at his, foster moms house. He likes to playfully chase the cat once in awhile.He, has been through a lot lately in his life and he needs a calm, happy,loving environment with older children who understand his limitations. He, has been shy around men but warms up quickly when he realizes they give, kisses too. Dio has a long life ahead of him and, needs somebody who is willing to commit to his needs for the next 8-12 yrs.
