Rosie was found wandering the streets in 110 degree weather at the end of August. This sweet girl was taken in temporarily by a family who tried to locate her owners but were unable to do so. When they realized they could not provide a lifelong home for Rosie they placed her in the care of PawPlacement. We are truly glad they did as we have one sweet little girl in our care. She is doing fine with both dogs and cats in her foster home. As she has never been indoors, we are working on potty training and so far she has the hang of it! We will continue to reinforce her and expect that by the end of the week she will be getting an A in this category. Walking on a leash is still new and new situations worry this little sweetie. With continued support and, given her young age, she should be a champ at figuring out life is good! She has been nothing but sweet through her vet work and spay surgery. She was a bit uncertain but none the less sweet. She brought tears to my eyes as when I first met her I was picking her up from the vet and she was a scared little girl and very quiet all the way home. When I opened the van door to let her out she crept up to me and very gently nuzzled my ear, gave me a little kiss, then sat back to study me with her huge brown eyes as if to make sure that I knew she wanted to be able to trust me! She has followed me around the house but just went back in her crate to go to bed. I suspect that she will be an easy easy dog to work with as her drive to please is very strong. Please make sure that you can commit to this pup for the next 15 years or so as Rosie wants a family to love with her whole heart and soul for the rest of her life!
