Sweet Simon was found in a park all matted and dirty. The finders took him in and tried to find his owners for over a week. He was good with the dog in his temporary home, but the resident dog did not like him, so Simon had to be moved into boarding. Since then, he has found a foster family. We are still working on the dominance thing, he growls when he first meets a dog, so when I bring him into the dog park, I keep him on the leash and make him sit until he is calm, then I free him and he knows he has to behave nicely or he will be leashed again. , One great thing that I would like to mention about Simon is that he loves his Kennel!! During the day he spends most of his time in his kennel (by his own choice!). We just leave the kennel door open and he chooses to stay in. He has never destroyed anything in the house, and he has never knocked over the trash! Also, he doesn't bark in the house, unless someone knocks on the door. He has been such a great foster! Simon is a nice, active boy who seems to enjoy the company of people and friendly dogs. He is looking for a home to call his own. He has so much fun and love to share.
