Velvet was abandoned outside of a PETCO store. She tried to make a home in a drain pipe but soon learned that the Arizona summer is kinda hot. She noticed people going in and out of a building - everytime they came out of the store they carried yummy pet treats or some wonderful pet toys. She decided to check it out. Luckily for little Velvet, a kind patron of PETCO rescued her and now here she is with Paw Placement. Velvet is a true little lady - she has a very sweet, gentle demeanor and never uses her nails. She will do well in a laid-back household. She is the quintessential lap cat and as her name suggests, she is as soft as a downy chick. She Loves to be held and will sit happily with you for as long as you want to! She loves to give hugs, too! She will get along very nicely as an only cat or with another laid-back feline.
