Imagine a cold, dark night and you are just a baby all alone in the world when somehow you wander on to a busy road to face car after car honking at you. Desperado started her journey to Pawplacement in this predicament. Desperado's story took a sudden turn for the better when one of the cars stopped and took the time to get this scared little puppy to come so that they could take her to safety. Desperado was rescued from the streets by a very kind and loving person who cared for her until a spot opened up in a foster home. Desperado is now in a foster home and absolutely thriving. She loves other dogs, dog toys, and people. She is almost completely housetrained and walks nicely on a leash. She comes when called and plays with her big old foster brother until he begs for rest! Remember Desperado is still a puppy and will require time, patience and most of all commitment to make sure she continues to grow become the great dog she will be. Desperado already had a lot of scary times in her little life and does not want to ever be desperate for food, love or safety again...she will easily be a 12 to 15 year commitment so please make sure you can commit to her care for the entirety of her life.
