Augie has a ton of energy. , He loves people and gets so excited to see you he , wags his whole body. He's gets along well with non dominant dogs. We , recently went to the dog park and he was very friendly with everyone. However, he does not get along with cats., He would be great with someone who can exercise him , daily. I've been riding my bike with him and he loves it! , He is an extremely fast learner, is house broken, and is quickly , learning to walk on a heel. Below is some information provided by Augie?s foster mom:, Likes: Squeaky toys, a freshly stuffed kong, long hikes (he'll carry, his own water in a backpack), cuddling, when his people come home,, listening to NPR (he's a very cultured dog), car rides, and mealtimes., , Dislikes: Cats, having his front paws touched, cats, baths, blow, dryers, cats, being left alone for long periods of time, being told, "no", his gentle leader, and cats., , He's 60lbs of goofiness. He is very friendly, good with most other, dogs, good with kids (that I've seen). He is funny! He loves to run, through the house squeaking on a squeaky toy. He also likes to carry, his food dish around (and he looks so very proud of himself when he, does so). He is fully housebroken and crate trained. In fact, he'll, sleep in his crate at night (it's next to my bed) even if I leave the, door open. His leash manners need work, but with a gentle leader he, is manageable and he is very good natured about being corrected., Though sometimes he'll make me laugh because he'll actually sigh in, frustration when I make him stop and sit while on a walk.
