Sting was hanging out with a feral colony of cats. Someone had abandoned him and he sought comfort with the wild cats in his community. However, two kind women trapped his colony so that they could spay/neuter them. They were surprised to discover this human-friendly cat amongst the feral cats they caught. Like the rock star for whom he is named, Sting has a beautiful blond coat and his meow is very melodious. Poor Sting did not fare well when he was out on his own - he has a scar across his nose to show that he is more of a lover than a fighter.
