Retriever Mix

Sweet Shawn is an approximately 10-year old, red-coated retriever mix, who was rescued just before being euthanized at the pound. He is of medium size, with a beautiful red coat and just the right amount of white to give him some distinguished maturity. Shawn is very friendly and affectionate, with a tail that never stops wagging. Shawn enjoys his daily walks and absolutely loves to snuggle up on the couch and watch TV ? his favorite channel being Animal Planet, of course. He loves people, but also enjoys to be around other dogs and totally perks up around them. He seems especially fond of one of the resident dogs at his foster home, the hound girl Carrie, and we suspect he may actually have a little crush on her. Cats don?t seem to matter to him one way or the other, and he has a tendency to just ignore them. , Being an older dog, Shawn is very mellow and easy-going. He is up-to-date on his vaccines, is neutered and micro-chipped and ready for his new home. If you?re willing to give this wonderful dog a chance to live out the rest of his years in a loving home with a caring family, you would make all his wishes come true.
