Imagine yourself walking down a long line of kennels filled with dogs that are homeless, lost, abused, neglected, skinny, fat, have ticks, have kennel cough, have mange, are completely healthy. You have just saved a friendly female rottweiler but in order to get her you have to walk through the long line of kennels filled with dogs waiting for someone to save them. No space is available in your rescue, yet you turn and look into one kennel. There you see a sweet puppy full of life, flipping a bone in the air and playing with it. She greets you at the kennel and tries to kiss your hand. The cuteness and playfulness of this puppy is not what caught your attention, it was all of the open sores all over her head and neck. Will anyone adopt this puppy you think? In order to treat this baby it must be expensive? Yes, all of these thoughts went through my mind, yet I could not get the image out of my head of how full of life this baby was and how miserable she must be with the open sores. So I saved her too. LuLu Belle's mange is cleared up and she is ready to go to a home. Do NOT under estimate her energy level. LuLu has a ton of energy to burn. At night she will settle down and cuddle, but during the day she is ready to be a puppy. She does enjoy being around other dogs and is fine w/ cats but would probably be a pain to another kitty in the home. LuLu Belle is now house trained with a doggy door. Her ideal home would be one where someone is home a good majority of the time, she loves children, and must have another active dog for her to play with. Her new home must be ready for a puppy and be ready to take her to puppy training. Lulu Belle is an absolute sweetheart and just loves to play at 100% and then nap at 100%! She will sleep for a solid 10 hours at night and loves to snuggle up right next to people at night! This little one will be a 15 year commitment so please be 100% sure you can commit to all of her needs and that you are prepared to fit her into your plans for the next 15 plus years!
