Bernese Hound

These adorable purebred Bernese Hound puppies were born in a loving Paw Placement foster home on May 17. Dolly will be available for adoption after she is spayed. Their mother is Georgia (see her bio also on our website). , My name is Dolly (I am the one on the left with freckles!) and I live in a foster home with my brother, Franz, and foster kitties and even some great big doggy brothers and sisters. I love my foster kitty sister, Snowy (see her bio on website) and playing with Franz and the big dogs too! My foster mom says Dolly is a great name for me as I am a doll...I am soo cute and snuggly and I just go right along with the flow of things! I am also really smart as I know to use my potty pads AND am learning all about the dog door too. I love to snuggle and be talked to and then I play play play and then I take a really good nap! We sleep next to mommy in our very own crate and that way we can let her know when we have to go out! I love playing with other dogs as long as they are gentle with me. I eat regular puppy food now and am growing by the day and am very much a puppy., If you are contemplating adopting one of these babies, please be sure you are ready for a puppy. Please think carefully on whether you are willing to spend a lot of time, training, playing and socializing the pup. Puppies are cute, fun, cuddly and A LOT OF WORK! Great dogs happen because of the time, care, patience, training and love that was provided. Puppies are a 12 to 15+ year commitment. This means that for the next 12 to 15 years your puppy/dog MUST figure into ALL of your plans...moving, marriage, kids, job changes, life changes, or whatever life brings your way. Raising a puppy takes a lot of work and should not be entered into lightly. Please think about whether you and your whole family are ready for such a big commitment.
