Lab/Sharpei Mix
Cody is a beautiful Sharpei mix who we have seen wandering the neighborhood for several months. He was witnessed running across traffic numerous times and every time we saw him, he got thinner and thinner. After many attempts, we finally able to catch him to get him out of the heat and get him some food and water, which he desperately needed. He is wonderful with other dogs and although he was initially hand-shy, he is very friendly with people. He still flinches with sudden movements but is already learning to trust. He is still learning to walk on a leash after most of his life was spent on the run but he is picking it up like a champ. He is a clean and quiet dog, young but over the puppy stage.
