5/22/06: Puppy shots #1 at Banfield, 6/20/06 :Puppy shots #2 and Rabies at Banfield, 6/30/06 Neutered and Bordatella at Bethany Animal Hospital, , , , Cute Buddy is 4 month old Lab Shepard mix boy. Buddy Is looking for a new home where he will be loved for the big dog he will be one day! Poor buddy's story is a common one ...he was purchased by a new dog owner when he was just a 6 week old pup as he was adorable but then guess what he GREW and now the family no longer wants him as they wanted a small dog! Guess what labs and Shepards are big dogs and Buddy will continue to grow. At any rate the family decided the best way to find him a new home was to bring him to a local pet store and try to give him away to anyone they could in the parking lot. When I first met this sweet little guy he was on hot pavement with a rope for a collar and leash being pulled around by a bunch of under 10 year olds in a parking lot while mom sat in a truck. The little guy was so hot and tuckered out and no water was brought for him. I talked to mom about dangers of giving away free animals but her response was, "but we don't want no big dog," I asked about water and they said he was fine. Well, that was enough for me as this little guy was just too sweet to let him be in the situation he was in. Buddy is great with kids and he was living with two small dogs and doing great. He will be a big dog and his new family must be ready to be big dog owners!
