A vital aspect of Paw Placement's mission is our foster system, an amazing group of volunteers who open their hearts and homes to animals until space becomes available at our Adoption Center. We could not save lives without these people! Jala's guardian angel is Mary, a Paw Placement veteran who works with both cats and dogs. Here's what Mary has to say about this special kitten: "Jala was born on the streets of Chandler. She is one smart kitty, as she literally rescued herself! At only three months old, she ran up to a kind soul walking down the street and demanded to be held. Once she had been picked up, she snuggled into the arms of her new friend and is still purring a month later. Little Jala purrs constantly and really enjoys attention. She is just waiting for a forever home where she can be loved and cared for. Jala is fine with other cats, but is not fond of dogs. She has perfect manners and is fastidious about her appearance!
