Snowy's guardian angel and foster mama is Mary, a Paw Placement veteran who works with both cats and dogs. Here's what Mary has to say about this special kitten: "Little Snowy is a rescue story that turned out great. Snowy was born around April 1st to a feral mom in a sewer with no way for anyone to get to her. When she was about five weeks old, she and another kitten ventured out. Someone noticed the kittens, but they retreated to the sewer and rescue was not possible. I waited outside and talked to Mom, but no way would they come near. The next day, the mom brought one kitten up to my house and put her outside my window. So out I went and picked her up to find a very sick little kitty. Off to the vet we went! Three days later, Snowy was well on her way to recovery and attached to life indoors! Snowy is an active little girl; she demands to be held, purrs like crazy, and loves playtime. She definitely knows her name, she really loves attention and would actually probably prefer being an only cat. Snowy LOVES dogs... she is fearless around them and is constantly bugging them to play. She must go to a home with feline-friendly dogs as Snowy does not realize that they are 100 times her size and could hurt her! Snowy does not like other cats. She would do best with older children, or maybe just adults as Snowy will climb up your leg or leap to a shoulder if she is not immediately picked up! Snowy grooms herself, has excellent litter box manners, and loves everything... she truly lives life to the fullest." Note: Snowy does not thrive well in the Cat Adoption Center, so she will remain with Mary until her forever-person is found. Mary will contact any online applicants.
