As any alley kitty can tell you, life on the streets is tough - but hardly any place is tougher for a black kitty than the hot streets of Phoenix in the summer. It's difficult for most of us to imagine that someone could abandon such a sweet girl in those conditions. Fortunately, Alberta was rescued by one of Paw Placement's directors just in time. She's now enjoying her second chance, and while she claims she's really only used up one of her nine lives, we'd like for her to spend the remaining eight in a secure, indoor environment with lots of love and nurturing. Alberta really just needs a person or family who will care for her, play with her, and promise never to abandon her. This can't be too much to ask.
