Paw Placement's mission is to find committed homes for cats and dogs whose owners can no longer provide quality care due to unforeseen circumstances. Bunny?s first mom could no longer care for her when she went into assisted living and even though it broke her heart, she had Bunny?s best interest in mind. We have promised to find Bunny the perfect new forever home because she is a special kitty. She has only known one mother her whole life, so she takes time as well as patience and understanding to open up to new humans. She also has not been around other pets and insists on being the only kitty in her new home, but may tolerate a gentle canine companion with good kitty manners. Bunny needs a quite, loving, and patient home that will give her time to adjust before expecting too much from her in return. After about a month in foster care, Bunny somewhat opened up to her foster mom and received pets and brushing, but mostly at night. She would even rub against her foster mom?s computer on the bed at night for a little love. She does love to lick, more so than being pet. She gets scared easily, but is very gentle. With no claws, she will just bat away your hand if she feels pressured or give you a gentle bite to say ?try again later,? but nothing that ever hurts or breaks skin. Bunny truly does want to trust and love humans, but just needs patience. Once Bunny settles into a new home I truly believe she will make a great companion for a quiet couple or single woman/man. Due to being scared easily, I don?t think Bunny should go into a house with kids, and especially no other cats! If you feel you are ready to give Bunny the love and patients she needs please fill out an online application. More about BunnyNot Good with Cats, Is Not Good with Kids
