Antha was rescued from the pound where she was about to be put to sleep because she had kennel cough. After a round of meds she is fully recovered and feeling much better. Although she is a little nervous you couldn?t ask for a sweeter dog. She is great with both of my small children and even lets my two year-old cover her with blankets for ?night-night.? She stays in her kennel at night and is housetrained as long as someone is around to let her out, so she would probably do well with a doggy door once she figured it out. Antha needs to go to a home where there are other active dogs for her to play with to keep her company, or else she gets lonely. When inside the house she is fairly calm and loves to just lay by your feet or follow you around. She is submissive and gets along well with any dogs I have ever had her around. She needs work with a leash because she doesn?t really know what to do, and some basic obedience for overall fine-tuning of her manners and self-confidence. She needs someone who will commit to taking her to obedience classes and maybe even the occasional dog park for some fun!
