Shepard/Boxer Mix
Zeda was found wandering the streets. As you can see by her pictures, she is complete skin and bones. She has a sweet temperament and is now in a foster home with other dogs. Update on Zeda from her foster mom: "She is doing really great. Her ribs are hardly visible anymore and she is just the sweetest dog. She follows me around all day - just wants you to love on her all the time. We think that she is a German Shepherd/Boxer mix. My boyfriend used to own a Boxer, and she has a lot of Boxer characteristics and behaviors. She has had no problem getting along with my two dogs, except that she is food aggressive toward them (probably from having to fight for her food in the past). However, she is not food aggressive toward people... she will let me put my hand by her or grab the bowl when she is eating without growling or anything. She does also like to jump up on people quite a bit (which I'm sure is the Boxer and puppy in her), so I have to watch her around my son... although she has not been aggressive toward him at all... just wants to give him love. She'd probably do best in a home with older children though, unless she learns not to jump (which we are working on!). We're having fun with her!
