Black lab/Pit Mix

Hi nice people! My name is Blackie! It's 'cuz I'm purple, see? Gotcha! I'm a very silly, sweet and gentle boy. That's what the nice rescue people say! But before they found out about me, I was really scared. I was on the streets and I didn't , know what to do! These big car things kept whizzing by right in front of me, I didn't have anything to eat, it was so hot and I was sooo thirsty and there were some mean people who thought it was fun to just scare me! I was so scared and alone! I walked and walked and found a family that didn't seem like they'd hurt me, so for three days, I begged them to let me come inside! Somehow, I knew they were my only chance. They saw that I was a sweet, gentle boy and took care of me. They thought that maybe someone owned me but couldn't find anybody. I just needed some help and to feel safe and have a full belly. That's when I met the nice rescue people. They took me to the nice doctor (nice, except for that needle part) and fed me and some nice volunteer people sat with me and gave me kisses and hugged me. They keep saying how sweet and gentle I am! I just love people and just love it when I get to be with them. I smash as close as I can to people. It makes me feel so good and safe inside! I get lots of hugs and kisses and give lots of them, too! All I want is to find someone to love for all my life and who will love me back just as much, which is a whole lot! I'm also great with other doggies if you have any that would like a new brother! Are you the one I get to love forever and ever and never leave your side?
