Sharpei / Staffordshire Terrier Mix

My name is Cusco! You say it like "Koos-Co" in case you all are wondering. I'm a sensitive and loving girl. I'm the kind of dog that likes what she knows, ya know what I mean? Are you a homebody? I would really like to love somebody with a laid back house where things are consistent and predictable. My foster mommy walks me for at least a mile or two every day 'cuz she says it?s a good way to get my energy out . . . which it is. But after our morning walk I prefer to just kick it at home where I feel comfortable and know what to expect. It takes me a little while to feel comfortable with new people but once I do boy will you be surprised! I?m so smart and talented. (That?s what my foster mommy and daddy say, not just me!) I?m very athletic and eager to please my pack leaders. I can jump, sit, lie down and so much more! I give hugs and kisses. Oh yeah . . . and about my pack leaders. Because I?m a little insecure and unsure of myself, I really need people that can give me structure and positive leadership. I do really well when I know what my leaders expect of me. I?m crate trained and really like to hang out in my crate when my humans leave. I can get a little scared and anxious if I?m left by myself in a big house. When my humans are home I use the doggie door to go in and out of the house. I know how to potty outside and probably won?t mess in the house once I learn the ropes from my forever pack leaders. I currently live with other dogs at my foster house but sometimes they're too much for me to handle. I would feel better in a house where I could be the only dog and where a loving family will take the time to really understand me. Most importantly I need a family that is going to accept me for who I am and make a commitment to love me no matter what.
