Staffordshire Terrier Mix

Athena (named for Athens, Greece) is one of Sydney's puppies. She was born in the comfort of a Paw Placement foster home in November. Athena is an adorable Pit Bull mix. She will weigh about 60-70 pounds when fully grown. At the beginning, Athena was the runt of the litter. And I do say WAS because it turns out now she's become the alpha female. Who would have thought? I remember the days when she weighed less than a pound and we frantically weighed her on a kitchen scale every day. Now she's about 20 pounds! She is just beautiful. Athena has a wonderful personality, is friendly with everybody, and acts independently. We?re so proud of her! Athena will need obedience class and continued socialization. She's off to a great start. She knows how to sit and lay down. We're working on leash training and "roll over." Athena will be ready for her new home after March 22 when she is spayed.
