About Jane - In Defense of Animals

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • Rescue ID: 1190
Meet Jane! She was rescued by In Defense of Animals. Jane is such a sweetie but has had a rough start in life, so she needs someone who has a lot of love and patience to give her. She'd be fine with another friendly, mellow dog. She is six years old, spayed, and potty-trained. Because she's a little older, Jane is trained to live in a home and would be perfect for anyone who wants a calm, wonderful companion. Jane prefers people and larger dogs as her friends. She would prefer not to live with cats, other small dogs, or small animals such as chickens. You see, an IDA supporter found sweet Jane chained on a chicken farm about two years ago. She rescued Jane and took her to live with her and many lovely cats she had rescued, too. However, Jane is not good with cats and she is becoming more vehement about that. Jane is wonderful with people and with larger dogs. We want her to find just the right home where she can bloom and give her heart, because she will give it willingly to her forever-person.
