Hi, my name is Smokee and my mommy calls me Smokee Bear! I am a little cutie and am learning so much so fast. I did not have such a great start as I was taken from my doggy mommy when I was only 5 weeks old and given away as a gift. Well, I was not a treasured gift so I found myself in rescue and then life got better! I am just a little guy right now at about 10 weeks old and 12.4 pounds. In my foster home I have other dog friends which I love! I play with everyone and they say I am fearless! I sleep in the big bed with everyone at night and I sleep through the night! My mommy helps me to remember when to go out to go potty and I am working on my housetraining. Remember I am just a wee one so I still am working on my house manners. I love playing with the other dogs and I LOVE my naps. Please be ready for a puppy as I am all puppy. My mommy says I am a great little guy and I also love to eat a lot! I look like I might be a lab/cattle dog mix as my coloring is so adorable. I want to find a forever home where people will treasure me as I sure love people. Please be ready to commit to love me and keep me no matter how your life or my life might change. Update1/6/06: Smokee is doing just great, he is now using the dog door to go out and we have had no accidents for a week! He is a true baby and loves attention. He would do best in a home where people are home most of the time. He goes everywhere with me and loves riding in the car. He does go to dayboard during the day as my work hours are just too long for the little guy. He is being neutered this Saturday 1/7 and will then be ready for his forever home. This little guy has a ton of personality and is a riot to be around. He is an adorable little chubby guy weighing in at a whopping almost 15 pounds! Smokee has a little foster sister running buddy who he loves to wrestle with and he has been great around the neighborhood kids. He is still teething though so really young kids would need to be supervised as he is teething! This guy is a true character who loves people, food and his naps in that order.
