Bootsie might be considered one of the luckiest cats of all this year. On Halloween, a holiday when most pet owners are encouraged to keep their cats extra-close because of unkind humans, Bootsie was rescued by a kind woman who promised to keep her safe until her forever-home is found through Paw Placement. Bootsie got her name because she was found hanging around in front of a boot store, waiting for someone to find her. Bootsie's foster mom reports that she's incredibly affectionate and will purr just at the sight of people. She loves to be petted and will soak up whatever attention is offered to her. Clearly she's making up for lost time! Bootsie was extremely fortunate to be rescued - Now she's waiting for the perfect forever-family to come along and complete the ending to her happy story. |
