Orange Tabby
Quarter is a very lucky kitty who barely escaped death. Like so many kittens in Maricopa County, Quarter was found abandoned and barely alive (his foster mom named him Quarter because, she says, he was only a "quarter alive" when he was found). Quarter's kindhearted foster family nursed him to good health. Fortunately, Quarter's story will end happily with Paw Placement- but this is the exception, not the rule. Please remind your friends, neighbors, and relatives to spay and neuter their pets- thousands of kittens will not be as lucky as Quarter was this year. Quarter would like to go home with one of his foster siblings (Banjo, Peanuckle, or Crybaby), but it is not required. All humans in the home must understand that kittens are not toys. Please check out our sweet boy- when he is adopted, his space will open up for the next lucky kitty.
