Note from his foster: Hi Hillary! I wanted to tell you this boy is just an absolute DREAM! All three dogs were wagging tails and having a blast, immediately! He was doing the front legs flat and butt in the air thing, begging them to play! He noticed and sniffed cats, and only two yelled at him. He is so smart! He learned which ones to walk away from in minutes! None of them will hurt him, they just make noise. The others are pretty comfortable with him, in fact one was begging for him to give her kisses. He's respectful of everyone in the house. Scratched at the back door when he wanted to go out! Amazing!! We coaxed him out the doggy door a little later, to the condo (it's completely enclosed, for the cats' safety, but is a fairly large section of outdoors so dogs can go potty while I'm at work). He's SUCH A LOVEBUG!! I left for 20 minutes to feed ferals after he'd been here for an hour, and there were absolutely no problems! He was waiting for me at the front door with the other two. He did pick up one of my flip flops though, but gave it to me when I asked. He carries a few toys around, but doesn't really know about play just yet. I put a leash around his neck (don't yet have a collar), and went out front with the other two to get the paper. He didn't do well on that. He did fine going toward the sidewalk, but didn't want to come back. He started to panic and pull away from me, so I picked him up and carried him in. As soon as I took the leash off, he was right back up giving me kisses. We'll need to work with the leash and walking. Right now he's curled up asleep in the den with me. We've chosen a name. Emmett. He seems to like it. We'll put some meat on his bones, and give him lots of love. He'll need a family who will let him lounge on the sofa and sit in their laps, probably sleep in bed, too. This guy is so special! Thank you so much for saving his life!! Kim
