Jedi was turned into Animal Care & Control because his owners were moving to a new apartment complex that didn't allow cats (Even though I want to say something sarcastic here about this reason for giving up a pet, I won't). Because Jedi was such a sweet cat, the employees at AC&C took him out of the pound and to the Pet Adoption Center where he lounged in a big room with fellow felines. He soon developed a mild cold though. Because Maricopa County cannot afford meds for the many animals who are abandoned with them, the employees at the Pet Adoption Center looked sadly at each other when Jedi began to sneeze. Since his arrival at the Center, he had become a kitty favorite -- always running to greet whomever came into the cat room. And he tolerantly allowed kittens to jump all over him. What a shame that this loving animal would be put to an early death just because he had a cold. So - the employees sent out a desperate email to rescue groups. "PLEASE HELP JEDI." Thankfully, Paw Placement had foster space and we are now seeking a home where this Jedi may experience the good side of the Force for the rest of his kitty cat days!
