Hilde was turned in to Apache Junction Animal Care because her owner said she was getting too big. So instead of living her life out as a happy dog, she was faced with losing her life due to her irresponsible owner. If you choose to have a pet, please consider the size, age, activity levels, breed, etc. before taking a pet into your home. Thankfully to some of the caring volunteers at Apache Junction, Hilde's life was saved. They fell in love her and did everything they could to find a rescue to take her in.
