Picture this. A Paw Placement volunteer is walking her previous foster and then is shocked by what she sees. A woman throws a puppy out of her car and then drives off almost running over the baby. So many people do not spay or neuter their pets and then those pets have babies. Many people want their children to witness God's gift of birth and then once they are born they no longer want the babies. Everytime a dog is allowed to have a litter, other homeless animals will end up being euthanized. You may say that you find great homes for all of your puppies, but if your dog has 5 pups, then that is 5 families that could have rescued a dog from being euthanized. Dusty is great guy who is learning a lot about being a dog from his foster pooches. Dusty now knows how to use a doggie door. He should go to a home that is completely ready for everything that comes with having a puppy. Dusty will need to be part of the family and be allowed to visit the doggie park for continued socialization. Dusty really would love to find another home with a canine companion.
