Hi all you nice people! I'm Honey! I have all sorts of nicknames though. One is Honeybun! Some people call me Honeybear. That's my favorite 'cuz I'm as cuddly as a teddy bear! They say that I am really a good girl. I love people and love to reach up and give kisses. I'm kinda sad though, even though all the rescue people love me to pieces! Life has been kinda rough. Waaaay back in 2004, I was alone and scared, living in an industrial park for months. I ate what I could and got water from the wash. A couple of times I almost got hit by a car! Some people tried to catch me, but I was afraid of them. What if they were like those people who were mean to me? So then the people who were trying to catch me cared enough to find a rescue who had one of those trap thingies that you walk into. Well, I was so hungry for real food that I went in it and the next thing you know, I was happily playing and following the rescue volunteers everywhere, giving kisses and getting hugs! I was so happy and so not scared! And guess what? They got me out of that scary, lonely place on Christmas Eve! Merry Christmas to me! Well, I soon got a new home with some people I loved with all my heart but when they moved, they didn't take me with them. I was soooo sad. All I did was love them. So now I'm looking again. I've been told that I am really beautiful and have the coolest colors all over! I'm a fluffernutter! (That means you gotta brush me!) I love to be rubbed all over...o.k., really it's just a front just to be with you! O.k., I might like the rubbing part a teensy bit. I love other doggies, but bossy doggies, especially boy ones, make me scared. I kinda like to chase kitties and can you believe it? They don't like that, so I need a home with no kitties...I like kids too, but sometimes they scare me 'cuz I'm not used to sudden moves and stuff. , Would you love me and protect me forever and ever and never abandon me? The rescue people say that I've been through enough. I think I have too. I just want to share your life, feel safe and never have to worry again about losing my home.
