Chow/Retriever Mix

Sweet Violet has spent the last couple of months living in a vacant lot where the neighbors were feeding her. No one could get close enough to her to capture her, but she continued to stick around for the free feedings. Thanks to 3 special people (Tuula, Paula, & Vicki) who took a couple days out of their time, they were able to successfully capture her. All three angels instantly fell in love with her and her sweet disposition. Violet is now safe in fostercare where she is quickly regaining her confidence in life. Violet is now following her foster mom from room to room and letting the foster puppies jump and play on her. She is acting as the puppies mother by letting them suckle on her and by cleaning them. Violet is definitely much happier in a home rather than on the streets and shows her gratitude by giving sweet kisses. Violet is such a gentle and sweet soul. She is quiet, house-trained, and non-destructive. Violet really enjoys going for walks and gets really excited when her foster mom comes home.
