Maricopa County's Animal Care & Control facilities send out lists to rescue groups letting us know which animals are on the losing side of the euthanasia list. Employees do this as a last ditch effort to save some lives. Poor little Wanda was on this list because she was scared to death at the pound. Without a familiar human, she trembled behind her litter box and so, did not draw attention from the adopting public. However, something about her sad eyes peering out from the back of her kennel beckoned a Paw Placement volunteer. Once safely in the arms of a gentle person, Wanda began to snuggle and purr. She is a dear cats who will make a wonderful feline friend for someone who enjoys the quiet side of life. Wanda is very affectionate and with proper introduction would probably accept another cat or dog in her life. Wanda's life will be long and happy one thanks to the genuine care the employees at AC&C have for the animals in their care. Adopt Wanda and help us fight homelessness of cats one life at a time.
