About Hershey

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • Rescue ID: 591
On 8/14 Hershey was found wondering the streets with no identification(collar/tags/chip). A good samaritan that found her placed ads in the paper, posted her everywhere she could think of and nothing came of it. Her current foster mom has other dogs and cats and Hershey really doesn't like being around them and should be the only dog since she thrives on one on one attention. She has seen the vet and has a clean bill of health, but just needs to get spayed now. Her foster mom says she is housebroken and well behaved, except for wanting lots of attention. Hershey is stunning looking! She's fully chocolate in color with beautiful brown eyes. She sort of looks like a half-sized chocolate colored golden retriever! They've been calling her Hershey and she has begun to respond to the name. What a beauty she is! She'll be a wonderful addition to a family who doesn't have other pets. As well trained as she is (doesn't jump on people, is learning commands well, doesn't, get on furniture, responds well to "no", etc.) she would make a wonderful pet for some one who doesn't have other animals. She has been friendly (very sweet) to all people, although she has not had the opportunity to meet younger children. So as long as the children are respective, she should do well.
