My previous humans took me to the vet to be euthanized. Why, you may ask??? Well . . . it wasn't because I had a lethal illness that was affecting the quality of my life. And it wasn't because I had horrible behavioral issues that made me intolerable to live with. And it certainly wasn't because I was aggressive. My previous owners wanted to put me to death because I had an abscess on my tail. Yeah, that's right! To make matters worse, the REASON I had an abscess on my tail was because my owners let me go outside where other cats wanted to fight with me. Hello?!?!?! I am declawed. I had no defense. No wonder I got beat up so bad that my wounds became infected. Thank God the vet called Paw Placement before I received a lethal injection. I am a GREAT cat! I am a lap cat AND I will play fetch. Please come see me ~ I am currently recovering from my wounds in the Paw Placement Center. |
